Feliway

On June 24th T took him back in (then diagnosed w/liver disease). The doctor knows that Harley is impossible to medicate via pill or orally. Noticing Harley had lost more hair, he suggested the Feliway diffuser. I tried it out in my master bathroom where he spends the nights, and would move it into my bedroom during the day where he likes to spend most of his day.
It took a few days before I began to notice a difference. Of course it took longer than that for the hair to grow back, but he quit throwing up the dreaded hairballs. That helped so much because he also has trouble keeping his food down due to the liver disease.
I have recommended Feliway to a friend of mine who has a female cat with a very nasty attitude. It has worked really well for her. It used to be that if you looked at her cat wrong, she would hiss at you. Now she ignores you.
I am very thankful that my veterinarian knew about Feliway, because it has made such a difference in Harley. It is helping both of us during this particularly difficult time. I also appreciate your company for manufacturing this product that is bringing relief to both pets and their owners.

The diffuser, along with some behavioral retraining, has stopped her wetting entirely. She has always been a very timid cat ( she was feral when I brought her in) especially in a house with 3 other cats. Now she comes out to play and she seems so happy. Actually, we both are.

We placed a diffuser in each room of the house and sprayed the surfaces of beds and sofas. The result was nothing short of miraculous! Murphy’s behavior changed almost overnight. She was calmed and the inappropriate elimination stopped completely. We continued to keep one Feliway diffuser in our living room throughout the remaining years of her life and the problem never recurred. Murphy is gone now and we just adopted two male kittens. It’s reassuring to know that, should I need it in the future, Feliway will be available to “save the day.” Thank you for a remarkable product.”

In desperation, we tried Feliway. I’m so glad we did! It keeps our house from being a war zone. We keep a diffuser in our living room. And just like clockwork, we know it’s time to refill when we hear the screeching fly by us. We just put in a refill, and the peace generally returns the next day.

There may be a day when Sherlock grows out of this, but until then we will be faithful Feliway users.

I also use it when we go away and have someone coming to
watch the animals. This product works for everything! Try it during a storm!! It works wonders!

After having him tested at my veterinarian, we found that he had crystals in his urine and that may have been the issue. After changing his diet, we relieved the crystal problem, but the urine marking problems remained.

My veterinarian suggested I try a medication (valium). I did try this, however my kitty was just not himself. He would walk around as if he were drunk and would often trip over himself. I spoke to my veterinarian again, and she had suggested that I try Feliway^®. That was over two years ago. I keep one in my main living area, and one in my bedroom. When I go on vacation, I don’t have to worry about the additional stress this may cause my cat – I just put fresh diffuser refills in, and I can relax knowing it’s helping my little boy while I’m away. We currently have a two kitty household, and my other kitty, Isabella is just as relaxed as can be (no copy-cat issue as I might have feared).

I am faithfully using Feliway^® in my home and am incredibly happy to have found such a wonderful product that allows my kitties to be happy and themselves – not to mention no more urine marking.

We followed the books on how to introduce them. We had lucked out with the exception of two - Bentley, the bully and Morris the attacked.

Every time we would try reintroduction, Bentley would rush towards Morris, even if it was to rush the gate. Morris would respond the same way....by hissing like mad and trying to retreat and escape. We finally bought a Feliway^® Diffuser after nearly a year of the hissing and upset, and waited it out.

The results are amazing. It took a few weeks for visible difference to occur, but it was well worth the wait!! Thanks to Feliway^®, we now have cats that tolerate each other, they will sit in the same room eating their canned food in the morning, and I can't tell you the last time we have heard hissing or screaming. I think Feliway^® is the most underused and under-suggested product ever! The bonus for me is that this is a pheromone, I don't even have to drug my cats!
